Wow! There might be a story to be told about the adventures of the team who formed O*N*E but damned if this issue makes me ont care one single iota about any of them.

From "Racism isn't real because I'm not a mutant" to "I've just landed machines of the make and model which have slaughtered literally millions of mutants are are pretty much synonymous with mutant hate on your lawn, without your permission, but 'Don't take it personally.' " there's not a single mis-step missed or clunky metaphor which is not flogged to death.

Plus, the only reason he's outnumbered is because he's restraining himself in an effort to stay non-lethal. If he really let fly with a full power wide area beam three quarters of that line of charging armed assholes would be ash.


... And then the headlines would be howling about how those horrible mutants just massacred hundreds of people "during a protest that turned needlessly violent" because the Marvelverse general populace sucks.

and what the hell is Lorna wearing, was she possessed by Malice again before she lost her powers? this is before she became a horseman of apocalypse right?
