Also this was a pretty bad team-up, the two teams barely interacted in a meaningful way.

Couldn't he have done that without out the Teen Titans?

No, but see? he HAD to ramble about how super amazing he is in front of the Titans and how super amazing his plan is. Otherwise how could WE, the readers, tell he is a super amazing villain?

Personally. I think if they toned down the whole "EVERYTHING IS GOING ACCORDING TO PLAN. EXACTLY AS PLANNED YESSIR", the fight might be a little more enjoyable.
Because, if the villain's plan is SO super amazing that it literally predicts every little thing the heroes do... then the heroes lose any sort of agency and it feels like their actions have no impact.

This was the thing that made it impossible for me to like Young Justice.

Yeah, while I liked Young Justice series, the constant, "All is according to...THE LIGHT!" shtick got REALLY old real quick.

There's just... so many bad ideas in this early part of the nu52, with the Titans especially.

I actually did like Tim's Red Robin suit with the glider wings, though. And Bunker is an excellent character.
