I'm going to miss this series so much. I know this is the end that was always planned, and it's selfish to resent it for getting the wrap-up that it wanted, but this book has just been so glorious it's a shame to see it go.

Never thought I'd be rooting for Megatron as a good guy, or shipping romances between transformers (until I read this book I never really gave it much thought aside form kid me watching Optimus & Alita or Rodimus & Arcee during the first run.

This book is a modern classic.

I wonder if the Magnificence was actually the remains of Epistemus, hijacked by the Omega, or if the Omega created it?

Also, I am amused by the cover - 'UNICRON IS HERE!'...I know it's cross-sell with the Unicron series, but it still cracks me up that it's on a series that features characters who presumably don't even know what's going on with Unicron...but also...

False Primus is actually more like the traditional Unicron than Unicron is - sure Unicron is a planet-killing planetbot...but so is False Primus...who is also from an alternate-universe, and can only be defeated by the Matrix.

The latter, I think. Epistemus was definitely an independent Cybertronian.

I really hope the Lost Light crew shows up in the back portion of the Unicron event. Not giving Megatron and Prime some closure, or bringing Rodimus in seems like a missed opportunity.

That's Nickel. She was originally introduced a member of the DJD (their medic, specifically), and ended up joining up with the Scavengers when the DJD were finally defeated. She's the last survivor of an attempted genocide against the Mini-Cons.
