So I was going through ComicBookPlus, trying to fin Stardust stories, when I came across this odd little story. From Fantastic Comics #6










Maybe this ending makes more sense if you've read the rest of the Golden Knight stories.

Something that constantly confuses me about the Golden Age comics is how much they just seem to hate vulnerability of any kind. I mean here the knight has a magic ring that apparently can do anything? So what exactly are the stakes involved when the guards attack him as it is clear that it won't even be a kickass action scene?

And why didn't he just use it to tame the creatures instead of killing them?
