Dawn is in perfect emotional balance as part of her nature as Dove, the embodiment of a Lord of Order.

Hal will have to achieve that balance it by effort (doubtless thus making him more heroic or somesuch)

I'm still taking it as White being perhaps a separate emotion (Peace or Life, take your pick), since Clark showed up as more of a spectrum than a mixture in BN Superman.

But white IS all colors combined(in light--in pigment of course it's the opposite).

But then you'd have to accept all below white, but a Yellow ring and a Blue ring won't net you the equivalent of a Green ring.

Mixing yellow and blue light makes white. They're complementary colors.
