The hardest part for history79 here is choosing which pages to share, because there's just so much great about it.

I dimly recall the first page of the inside of the Reach ship being just a pandemonium of alien invaders freaking the hell out over how many superheroes earth has. "TWO KRYPTONIANS?! I THOUGHT THOSE WERE EXTINCT! MAGIC USERS?! THEIR POPULATION HAS -WHAT- PERCENTAGE OF PEOPLE WITH POWERS?! WHAT?!!?!! WHAAAAT?!!!" which I frankly thought was the only reasonable reaction any alien invasion force should have upon encountered DCU's Earth.

There's a limited-run X-men kind of thing where some would-be conqueror decides to invade earth, and some random hapless analyst that finally manages to query the right databases gets the info on earth, goes into exactly that sequence of "... what. ... WHAT.... WHAAAAAAT?" and tries to warn the warlord, but he's shot on sight for entering the Warlord's presence without authorization, and given his low rank everyone assumes that whatever he had to say can't have been too important...

I don't recall the exact run and I don't own it, or I'd post the scans. Somewhere from the 90s, what I remember of the artwork had that distinct Liefeld vibe...
