I believe that this is riffing off a Chick tract that used the Titanic sinking in a similar way. However, it's possible that it's another one of the author's "Fuck you for liking something I didn't or don't like" stories, directed at the movie.

Well, I didn't think it was possible to come up with a story more insulting to the Tragedy of the Titanic than the two Italian Animated movies on the subject (Which, if you've never seen the Nostalgia critic and don't know, one of which involves a rapping dog, and the other states that no one actually died on the titanic, and that the boat didn't sink because of an iceberg, it was sunk by a plot by an evil Whaler with the help of a gang of talking sharks in prison garb who tricked a giant octopus with the voice and mentality of a child into throwing an ice berg at the Titanic. Oh, and both movies feature talking mice as the main or secondary protagonists.) And.... Yeah no Garth those are still worse, but not by much.

I mean seriously dude, I didn't think my opinion of the guy could sink lower but here we are. What a fucking Hack.
