I'd like to think they both mean the same thing, just that for batman "destroy his teammates" means showing up at their birthday party to flaunt his wealth with a ludicrously expensive gift they'd never be able to reciprocate on his birthday. Followed by embarrassing pictures from the Justice League holiday party.

I mean, Superman doesn't really need a plan to take down like 95% of his teammates if they're mind controlled or turn evil or something. Sure, there's few like Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter or the Green Lanterns that would give him trouble in a one-on-one, but even for those he's perfectly suited to the 'keep them occupied and contained while someone else figures out a way to take them down' role.

Batman needs plans because 'punch them in the face to knock them out' isn't nearly as universally applicable a plan for Bruce as it is for Clark.
