"As much as Carnage Born was the rebirth of Cletus Kasady, Cult of Carnage will give readers a larger look at our favorite serial killer's overarching plan. Big, BIG things are coming for Venom, folks, and it begins here, in Cult of Carnage! #GodIsComing!"  -- Donny Cates

Hey, remember when Carnage was last interesting?

Me neither.

I wonder whatever happened to that reporter, we never saw her again after that series.

Well, I guess if you totally reverse his character he's bound to be.

My thoughts went straight to this before I even started reading.

I rather liked his recent ongoing series, and I really enjoyed the stuff by Zeb Wells.

I wish Axis Carnage was still around.

Why is it that writers seem to think removing all the symbiotes' weaknesses and piling new powers into them makes them interesting?

Everything that's been done with Venom, Carnage, and the Symbiotes in general since Eddie Brock has become Venom again has just made them so boring...

Presumably to make them bigger threats who cannot be defeated with the same old tricks.

Oh, hey. The town that was the scene of Carnage's last big fight has been butchered down to the last man, woman, child and animal. Thus making the actions of the heroes completely and utterly pointless.

...why are the 90s regarded as the grim and gritty era, agai?

Wait, so is everyone who wore a Klyntar indoctrinated by Knull, or is it just people who wore Carnage? It would explain what they did to Scorn, at least.

Carnage's ridiculous over-exposure in the 90s killed any interest for me. Rather than be excited he's reunited with Shriek and the Doppleganger, I only ask "Why?" Not "why did they reunite?" but "Why is this necessary?"
