So I'm guessing this is based on the Thanos Rising mini. Guess Thanos wasn't crazy after all.

Yeah Rising is apparently the official Thanos origin. I like it but reading some of Starlin’s stuff the two clash at various points.

Whenever Ariel Olivetti doesn't color his own art, you're like " .. is that the same guy? "

it really is a night and day difference. In this instance I far more prefer his work than when he colors it.
