G. WILLOW WILSON Exiting WONDER WOMAN for 'Bucket-List-Dream Project'
"Since I've been getting questions: Yes, I will be leaving Wonder Woman in a couple of months to make room in my schedule for the bucket-list-dream-project I keep hinting at," Wilson tweeted. "The wonderful Steve Orlando will be coming on board (and his 1st storyline will knock your socks off). More soon! It's a great time to be a Wonder Woman fan..."
Wilson's last-solicited issue is October's Wonder Woman #81, with Orlando writing November's #82 and #83. Orlando has previously written Wonder Woman #51 through #55 and #73 as standalone guest issues.
Wilson didn't specify what her "bucket-list-dream-project" would be, or with what publisher. When asked, she said she expected it to be announced "fall at the earliest; possibly winter."
I'm disappointed to hear that her run is ending so soon. Although I came close to dropping it after about 8 or so issues.
In #76, Cheetah visits the home of Diana and steve, where Aphrodite is a guest.

I like the art here. It's by Skyward's Lee Garbett.
And yes, that's a Godkiller sword.
In #77, Atlantiades and Diana take Aphrodite to Themyscira for her pyre.
Atlantiades tells Diana that they wants justice for their mother, so Diana gets tooled up and follows Cheetah's trail.

Because of course, Diana's mission is motivated by her love for Aphrodite, her own mother, and Aphrodite. and without a goddess of love, what drives her?
