I wonder if MJ knows that Quentin once put an awful lot of work into trying to trick Daredevil into killing a baby.

That's not just snark about his redemption, by the way. It's entirely possible she doesn't- I don't know what the current status of her relationship with Peter is, and Matt's not always the best about communicating with others anyways.

At minimum she knows he was partially responsible for Karen’s death. She was at her funeral and Matt told Peter everything that happened.

I don't know what she does or doesn't know about Mysterio but Vulture trashed her night club and was responsible for the deaths of Nathan Lubensky and the Mary Parker LMD* so ... lesser of two evil?

I have no idea who Master Matrix is but that is an interesting crew.

I have a hard time believing Screwball wouldn't make this all about herself and I assume this is an evil HERBIE because otherwise I feel like he would be programmed to report this insanity to the authorities.

Nope! In the last Electra series she helped Arcade kill a bunch of civilians in his Murder World.

Its really baffling that someone would "borrow" a character like that and then use them in a way that is totally contrary to the character. I mean, it makes sense to pull Kingpin and the Punisher away from Spider-Man because their established characterizations make them a better fit for Daredevil anyway; it would be weird if they begged the Spider-Man editor for Venom and made him a mob boss.

(Yes, I remember the Mark Millar mobster Venom. Even the story itself presented that as a terrible idea.)
