It'd be real nice if just /once/ we get a subversion here and he's impressed (and horrified, because what the hell is an underage kid doing fighting the threats Spider-man fights?) and from here on arranges to help Miles in various ways -- covering for him when he has to duck out to save the day, rubber-stamping permission slips to take a catch-up test because he missed attendance...

You know, an actual non-asshole adult.
