I don't get the last two panels of the second page. I'm guessing it's a reference to something...?

It's like that classic comic strip gag where one of the characters says the punchline, and the other characters literally get knocked off their feet by the force of it. It's listed as the "face fault" on tvtropes, but I don't think anyone's ever called it that.

The Beatles in Julius Ceasar's time

The one about Jimmy's brothers might be a reference to this, but I don't know.

The gorilla reference might be this one, but there were a LOT of gorillas in the Silver Age

As for the rest a couple ring bells, but Jimmy has had a long and weird career and I don't begin to claim to fathom every bout of oddness.
