Alfred found him and patched him up.

In bed, Bruce told him about his hunt of the criminal Peter Scotta, in which he'd fallen at the last hurdle.

" Master Bruce, when was the last time you had a full night's sleep? "

" I believe I just did. "

" Unconsciousness from lack of blood doesn't count. "

" I don't.. it was.. sometime in February, perhaps? "





On another day, Batman resolved a hostage situation at the 2nd Bank of Gotham in a way that frustrated Detective Jim Gordon.



Batman's presumption irritated Gordon.



Elsewhere, another driven man was challenged by life.



Doctor Victor Fries stormed out, his mind on his wife Nora.



Back at the cave, Batman vented to Alfred.



His hand stretched towards what he'd been working on alone.

ooh, I really like this (at least, assuming it goes where it appears to). A young Batman who's still thinking like a billionaire, and doesn't see how its the red tape that's holding society together in the first place.
