Date: 2009-09-08 07:39 pm (UTC)You know the one from Avengers 200 which, (Irony upon Ironies,) Claremont later on exposed the horror of it in his Avengers Annual 10..
A lot of Claremont's mind control seems to be from characters who are more straight forwardly evil in that regard..
Whist this Hyperion doesn't seem to be entirly potrayed as the nasty piece of work that he so obviously is..(Much like the initial marcus potrayal in Avengers..)
(PS I adore David Micheline's work on Iron man, and much of his run on Spidey, but I don't know what the heck he was thinking when he wrote that avengers arc...)
