You know things are bad when you have to call in the bloody Mutant Liberation Front... And they revived Four-Arm?

I mean, not to wish ill on anyone, but he wasn't even the most interesting personality-less, four-armed superstrong guy in the X-Men history as Barbarus from the Savage Land Mutates arned his spot in 1969.

1969, huh? Somehow I always assumed that the Savage Land was a Chris Claremont invention. Probably because the iconic image I have associated with it is Rogue in strategic shreds of her uniform, which is a very Claremontian image...

Turns out that the Savage Land's first appearance is in 1965's X-Men #10.

That makes a certain amount of sense- I also remember the early X-men fighting Frankenstein's Monster and a mad scientist making giant insects, so it would almost be odd if they *hadn't* found a lost world full of dinosaurs.
