New Mutants D&D: Chapter 1- Road of Bandits

People seemed interested in my New Mutants Dungeons and Dragons story, so here is the first chapter.

The story goes that the wicked White Queen has poisoned King Charles, ruler of the kingdom of Excelsia. It is up to our band of heroes to defeat the White Queen and find a cure. First the heroes will need to join the Guikd of Heroes, but that will mean travelling through the dangerous Road of Bandits.

Sure enough, it doesn't take our heroes long to run into the bandits infesting the road. Amara's Cloak of Invisibility is a great help.

The heroes make quick work of the bandits and Illyana takes the opportunity to use her Staff of the Dead to resurrect one of the bandits so she can have somebody to carry the loot. It's not like she's going to carry it herself.

It doesn't take the heroes very long to find the bandits' camp and their leader, Felicia the Bandit Queen.

Rahne and Shan deal with the Bandit Queen thanks to Rahne's enchanted bow freezing her feet and Shan's book of spells dealing the knockout blow.

The bandits were holding a fairy captive and forcing her to find loot for them. The fairy, Rachel, is so happy to be rescued that she agrees to help the heroes on their quest.
