Every time I write a new FF member, they become my favorite FF member. Case in point: The Thing. Just a couple of days ago I wrote a scene with Ben, and there's a reason he's one of the most beloved heroes Marvel has. -- Al Ewing
No complaints about the wedding, but I really don't like the choice of villains. Here we have what had been the most peaceful race of aliens, collectively turning into space Nazis overnight.
Meanwhile, the good guy aliens...were the space Nazis, until now.
And frankly? I'm getting tired of every damn crossover having some element of personal betrayal. Even if this one is pretty far removed ("First Avengers baby betrayed us!")
That seems like an odd thing to complain about. As for the Cotati, it's not like they were all that relevant before this and their grievances make sense and ultimately they were manipulated by Quoi.
-"We were in AIM, remember? I learned always to have a ridiculous scheme ready"-
And millions of light years away, Roberto da Costa suddenly looks up from what he was doing, and finds a single tear rolling down his cheek... ... but since he's being written by Jonathan Hickman, he doesn't remember anything that Hickman didn't write, and so therefore has no idea why he's feeling pride, and shrugs it off.
Meanwhile: Friggen racist space-grandmas. They ruin everything!
(is a bit weird at the end when Kl'rt finds out his apparent king is an impostor and his actual king is right there, but still attacks him anyway... then again, good decision making ain't Kl'rt's defining attribute.)
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
