Funny, one of the things I remember from Gulliver's travels is the Brobdingnagian women taking the liberty of dropping Gulliver into their cleavage, and his comment that, since every pore, hair, and blemish was clearly visible and giant to him, this sort of up close and personal attention was not as pleasant for him as his readers might imagine.
I don't recall if the Liliputians expressed the same opinion of him, but then, apart from initially binding him (when they certainly did think him potentially a dangerous monster) I don't believe that he ever got that intimate with them.
Aside from references elsewhere (like that time Spider-Man got shrunk by Pym Particles), my only experience with that story is an old beaten-up copy of a Gulliver/Robin Hood combination book I had as a kid. I was always more interested in the Robin Hood bits anyway.
