Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Raven' needs no introduction; Creepy adapted the poem with unnecessary dialogue but Richard Corben's art is still effective in my opinion.
Waaaaaaaay back in high school, I used "The Simpsons" version in English class. I performed all of the narrator/James Earl Jones' lines (having painstakingly muted them via tape-to-tape recording... ah, the 1990s...) and let the rest play inbetween. The class laughed and the teacher liked it, so mission accomplished.
Founded by girl geeks and members of the slash fandom, scans_daily strives to provide an atmosphere which is LGBTQ-friendly, anti-racist, anti-ableist, woman-friendly and otherwise discrimination and harassment free.
Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
