Heck, I'm pretty sure Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, Ghost Rider, the Hulk, Wolverine, and Uatu's family are at least on the Christmas Card list**. Also Namor but Reed doesn't need to know about that.

*For a guy not known for his maturity, Johnny is on pretty good terms with his exes.

These are people that let Dr. Doom watch their kids so maybe they're a little too forgiving.

I know feelings on this run are mixed but I love the way Slott writes Ben so much. Admittedly he isn't the hardest character to get wrong but his voice is so prefect here.

Ugh I hate that. Worst was Millar making him this total idiot with Sue noting "My brother is Paris Hilton."

Likewise Waid although he did make it up with a great scene of Sue getting Johnny's powers and realizing how much self-control he needs for them. But yes, it's annoying how every new writer tosses out all the years of character building to make Johnny the hot-headed jerk he started off as under Lee & Kirby.

Not shown here, the issue explains it as Johnny thinking that if Iceman counted as a member, he'd be the first repalcement member, and rather than being over something important - pregnancy, power loss, etc. - it was over him being immature.

So, he was being immature over a fear of being seen as immature.

Lol, I forgot about Johnny Storm's incredibly forced Extremely Heterosexual Marriage to his Definitely For Sure Soulmate until I noticed her milling about in the group shots.

She is weirdly entirely absent from the following issue. Especially sus since it's an 'all hands on deck' situation that they're facing.

I honestly thought she was a mutant tagging along with Bobby (and, given her arm placement at the end, barking up the wrong homosexual) because they look almost exactly alike when not using their powers.
