At this point, the series has already transcended parody, so why the heck not. I mean, they've already got Bat-T.-Rex in the main book and the Chainsaw of Truth. What jokes are left to tell, really? If Mad wasn't cancelled, I'd expect to see Batfred E. Neuman.

You might've misread the above. Lex and Lobo are on the side of their universe continuing to exist, and Lex is also willing to pay and Lobo's for hire. The Batman Who Frags is working for the Batman Who Laughs for the same nebulous reason all the evil Batmen are working together, which... somethingsomething Promethea, I think? I haven't really sussed that one out.
