Ah, so we're at the "Reed doesn't understand human-ing" stage of his socialisation cycle in this story (I figure it's like bio-rhythms)
That being said, a straight up horror take on their powers whilst they're in an isolated location is an interesting way to go, and not one I think I've seen much of this side of Warren Ellis' "Ruins" series.
There you go Josh Trank, there's some body horror for you. The ultimate solution to the problem is... glorious. But definitely NSFW.
My only complaint is that, based upon what happens to the rest of the FF, Ben should be becoming MORE rocklike - maybe seizing up like a statue - rather than flaking away, as their powers are effectively being amplified.
On one hand, I don't like that after all this time, Reed can so easily backslide into selfishly impeding a family vacation, and then focus on the science while his family is slowly devolving around him.
On the other hand, everyone calling him out at the end for his behavior was pretty satisfying.

Bottom line: If slash, feminism or anti-oppressive practice makes you react negatively, scans_daily is probably not for you.
