Sometimes I like to be surprised or have my theories disproven...

...but I am very, very, very glad to be right that Good Norman is still with us. Honestly, I hope he never goes back. Watching him fake his old self makes him even better.

I still can't really wrap my head around Harry's argument ("You always make things worse, Peter, like the way your deal with the devil brought me back to life!"), but this issue has bought Spencer a lot of benefit of the doubt with me.

Was it ever explained how Harry somehow went from being alive and well and living as ordinary a life as anyone connected to a superhero ever gets to live to suddenly being a demon from hell with Cartoon Rasputin style insect minions and having the power to bring the dead back to life?

Continuity wise I am still utterly baffled as to how, when and why Harry became Kindred but if that's been explained in a scene I haven't read yet I would genuinely like to know

Nope, whatever lies Harry's been talking about for how many issues still hasn't been revealed. The most clarification was Harry saying that Peter hiding Norman being Goblin after he got amnesia wasn't for Harry's sake but because Norman forgot Peter being Spiderman.

Can anyone prove that Nick Spencer and JJ Abrams are not, in fact, one and the same person?

The implication is he did die for real and that Peter making the OMD deal somehow resurrected him and rewrote reality.

Well, right around when Spencer's run began Mephisto was messing around with Miles (in Champions) and Ben Reilly (when he/Kaine had an ongoing together).

With what Kindred said to Mysterio early on (referencing Beck's Friendly Neighborhood arc where he was dead but had an "employer" who wanted to stop the Other from interfering with Peter's life), and that a certain event caused Beck to be brought back to life suggests prior Harry's memories were awakened by said devil.

So really Mephisto could put Harry there as a sleeper agent awakening him when the time he deemed was right.

Love it when writers are so inspired by a previous creative team that they retroactively undermine their work.

Anyway, it should have been Liz.
