"I made a love letter in the form of our new X-Factor Investigations; which is full of intrigue, action, sexiness, and secret bread-crumb trails for you to find. The entire series is layered with clues about mutant resurrection’s ultimate end-game, but you’ll have to keep reading to figure it all out." - Leah Williams

Date: 2021-02-03 11:27 am (UTC)Lots of fun character moments and some good intrigue with whatever is happening with Siryn here. Eye Boy continues to be too good for this world and I love seeing Daken continue to find his place on the team. It's a new thing for him to be around actually good people who aren't using him, manipulating him or just want him around because he's good at violence. And I like that he's starting to fit in more and get on better with the rest of X-factor as it goes on
Also while it's not included in these scans, the scene with Prodigy's desire to study mutant forensics and Northstar being the team dad was very very cute and made me grin
Also that scene of them messing with that racist pig (And Northstar and the rest of the teams general disdain for cops in general) brought a smile to my face

Polaris: "I'll ask at the next Quiet Council Meeting."
*At the next meeting*
Storm: "... seriously? SERIOUSLY?"
Bishop: "I think it's a good id-" *Storm beans him with a block of ice*
-"Possesses an emotional tint to her telepathy."-
Ooh, so not only can Rachel tell what you're feeling, she can tell what you're feeling.
... wait, hold up... think you might be on t' something, Narration box.
-"You must've forgot about my sonic hypnosis."-
"But Terry, I thought it only effected those who were attracted to w... Ah."
"If you want an easy out, just say it's because I'm a goddess. But ye know it's a lie. Now, if you were Alex, we could say it's because you're easily manipulated... I could take him wi' a laser pointer..."
