Lesser writers would probably have him and the others actually feel sorry for these freaks or push some ridiculous anti-violence message. It still bugs me that Bobby is going around crippling people. He's more than capable of immobilizing these idiots without injury. Excessive force just doesn't seem like Bobby.

The existence of these Reavers, among other things, does make me think that the Quiet Council really needs to change that "No killing flatscans" rule to be "No killing them...unless you need to"

(That's what I'm calling Kade Kilgore and his little entourage now, I was gonna call them the Burger King Hellfire club but I don't think that got the message across well enough).

(I actually read Marauders up to Issue 16 on Marvel unlimited, its the first of the new X books I've gotten into and I really kind of love it).

I think this time around the Marauders should ACTUALLY set the little bastards on fire, since the psychic experience of it apparently wasn't enough to teach them the error of their ways

I do love Duggan's use of these little shits though. He obviously has great fun in having them be foiled and and humiliated and I have great fun in watching the little flatscan brats get treated like an irritating annoyance by the Marauders and having their schemes ruined over and over again

They're basically a Quirky Mini Boss Squad that's firmly convinced they're better than they actually are and no amount of being Blasted Off Again seems to teach them that they're never going to win

Though it does have a regrettable pest infestation at present with Homines Verendi and their allies but I'm hoping Emma and the Marauders can do a little pest control and eliminate this problem swiftly

What is his situation, anyway? Is he in a clone of his original body, reshaped according to his wishes? A host-body? Or did he figure out a way to manifest physically without needing one?

He keeps burning through bodies, and they keep growing him new ones to transfer him into.
(Seems like an idea would be finding a way to stop him burning out bodies, maybe see if Elixir could use his fantastic healing powers to help with that, but hey-ho.)

Well it's not so much that he burns through bodies is the issue, it's that if he uses his powers in one body for too long he goes Always Chaotic Evil and starts thinking it's okay to inflict fates worse than death on people

His mind being placed in new bodies helps prevent his powers from damaging the way his brain works

I think the bodies are also specifically clones of Xavier.

Yeah, he's got a whole load of Xavier clones on tap to jump into (because they're nothing creepy about inhabiting clones of your mom's ex).

House of X mentioned he's actually burning through them pretty quickly, because he's constantly using his powers to help rez people, but his mental health seems fine so far.

I see Kate is displaying one of her lesser-known powers, being able to change an evening gown to a pirate costume between panels.

Being able to quick change seems perfectly in character for the mutant who practically invented the costume montage.

That is a really great use for Masque's powers.

I think that was such a beautiful moment, Masque getting to experience the feeling of using their powers to help others.

And you can see how much it's touched them, realising that their powers aren't something that has to be a weapon
