2000ad Prog 2231 - Robots in Symbiote Suits

I'm sure it's a question we've all been asking: what if you got of o' those black, goopey symbiote suits onto a robot, huh? WHAT THEN?

Something I'm confident few people care about, what happens to all those dreams the Dark Army has once its Dark Lord has been toppled by them heroic hero types?

Okay, so as that "former dark lord's army" story progresses, we'll get to see the various war crimes the dark army did, I assume?

I'm more expecting to see atrocities from the side of the Army of Light. Goblin/Orc children slaughtered because "They're all evil, right?" Places fow orship destroyed when full of followers because they follow a 'dark' god and other such stuff.

You'd think that, but then the concept of "looking at a fantasy conflict through the eyes of the Dark Lord's Army" was done in the novel "Grunts!" by Mary Gentle, and while the Orcs who gain US Marine Corps weaponry are the protagonists of the story, they're by no means good people.

Or, to quote a line from the book, "And pass me another elf, Sergeant, this one's split." Said in during a scene where our elf protagonists rape some captive elves.

Not to say we're not likely to see Goblin genocides, but I don't expect the Dark Lord's armies to be anything resembling heroic folk, either.

This is probably a stupid question, but what actually is a prog?

Because 2000ad is a FUTURISTIC comic about SPACE and other SCIENCE-FICTION things, they chose to call issues 'progs' to go with that far-out, futuristic title o' theirs.
