I mean to me that just sounds like a playlist of all my fondest memories so...

Oh look it's Mighty Murderin' Teenage Kraven!

Has she shown up at all since that arc where Kraven rose from the grave and was like "Put me back in the ground at once" or is this the first time someone has done stuff with her since then? Her joining the Syndicate is a pretty cool idea

This feels like it could be a fun event if it didn't have Kindred barging into every scene as Nick Spencer tries to make him louder, angrier and give him access to a time machine

She appeared in the Kaine/Scarlet Spider series and they also revealed she was an Inhuman back when Marvel was trying to make them a thing.

What are her powers?

Nobody knows. We saw her chrysalis forming in an Inhumans story, but the next time she showed up, in Spencer's Spider-Man, there was no mention of it, nor since then.

So Inhuman Ana may have been forgotten.

Giving her powers would have been a good way to differentiate her from her dad and they could have done something cool like make her a werewolf or something

I'm guessing - if they address it at all- they'll treat it more or less the same way they treated her brother's mutant powers; pretty much the same as Daddy Kraven's powers but they didn't come from potions or herbs.

It is interesting that there's a mutant and an Inhuman born into the same family. Has that ever happened before? I feel like they missed an opportunity to make Luna both (but Quicksilver isn't currently a mutant anyway).

As far a I know, Vlad is human.

"Al" (Kraven II) is a mutant.

Yeah, that's kinda the problem. He's all over the place. He seems to basically the same powers as his dad (enhanced strength, durability, senses, ect) plus some extras (I don't remember him communicating with any animals other than a trained wolf but OHotMU says he has that power).

I guess it works like Spider-Girl. Her mutant powers are almost exactly the same as he father's non-mutant powers ... for some reason.

He had an elephant and an ape helping him out in his first appearance but I'm not sure if he can control animals or if he trained them

And yeah no one seemed to be sure what to do with him

Oh, look. Taskmaster, in a Spencer story. Didn't see that coming.
(Guessing that means Black Ant is nearby.)


It sure looks an awful lot like Baby Kraven's stabbing Peter in the shoulder blade there.
Doesn't seem like a sensible place for stabbing.

"I don't want to over promise and under-deliver" feels like Spencer has got self aware about how every story he writes goes

Why is Taskmaster there?

Has he ever even really fought Spider-Man as part of a team or solo before?

All the other villains here are various Spidey foes teams. The Sinister Six, the Savage Six, the Superior Foes, the Syndicate

And then Taskmaster

Tasky has indeed fought Spider-Man before (and not just in stories written by Spencer), at least twice.

Of course, the only reason he's in this story is Nick Spencer really likes writing Taskmaster (and Black Ant. They're a BOGOF with Spencer).
... more than is probably healthy, actually.

I mean, randomly showing up to get involved because someone's paying him a wadge of cash is entirely in-character for him, at least.
(Assuming Kindred even plans on paying them, and judging by the brain-eating bugs, that seems... unlikely.)

It probably would be hard for Harry to access his old accounts.
(Would they even count as his, or the other Harry's? There's probably a form for it in the Marvel universe.
"Oh, you were killed then revived as a quasi-demonic entity out to wreck overly elaborate revenge on your best friend? Right, I'll just get the paperwork, if you could wait here...")

It's probably happened at least once before
