And she and Ivy are going to be together romantically in the pages of the wonderful Harley Quinn ongoing book in the aftermath of Fear State

Even if Harley is just in the mood to fuck someone who has a clown aesthetic and zero moral compass, she can still do better than a threesome with Punchline and the Joker

I always have a hard time imagining the Joker being particualrly interested in sex of any sort. His supreme narcissism means that the only person he genuinely cares about is himself. Everything is for show, nothing is because he cares about it.

With Harley it always seemd to be a power and cruel head games thing which possibly involved some performative sex, but nothing more than that and he'd push her under a bus the moment he lost interest, or thought she was becoming independent of him.

And I honesly still don't see what he's supposed to see in Punchline.

Paul Dini had said that Joker has feelings for Harley as much as he is able to actually have them.

Indeed, but I've always read "as much as he is able to have them" as recognition of the Joker's emotional limitations, not his strengths.

And remembering the Creeper BTAS story, where we see the Joker get homicidally jealous when The Creeper makes goo-goo eyes at Harley. Not because he cares about Harley as a person, but because she is HIS.

My go to assessment of the Joker's sexuality remain the comment ACTUALLY gay Pied Piper used back in the 90's



And Grant Morrison's comment about the Joker's sexuality being purely a performance and is summarised as "Whatever will most disturb the person he's expressing towards"
