Wait, all he gets out of having all ten rings is superpowers, glowing eyes and the occasional evil urge?
But it doesn't make his hair grow out and / or turn gold? Not even a little?
Huh.

Plus, his inbox is just filled with passive-aggressive emails from Captain America.
Like, at least three a week.
(Probably at least one of which is always on the topic of "becoming no better than the villains you face" or something.
And given it took his siblings like, half a page to talk him down from the power high, don't think there's much immediate concern about Shang-Chi going mad with power.
Unless all his former friends and allies suddenly turn on him and act like he's a power-crazed maniac who needs to be stopped now. And what are the chances of that?)

Fun series. Would read more.

As "giving into the temptation of evil" goes, crushing the hand of someone who hurt a loved one doesn't seem all that bad. I can name a lot of Avengers who have done much worse. Some of them recently took it upon themselves to check in on him.

Yeah, but that's just how it starts.
You crush one hand in righteous vengeance, and it's not enough.
So you go out into the night, and crush another hand... and another...


And the Avengers were super-judgmental towards Shang-Chi this whole series.
It's like they were five seconds away from yelling "I NEVER TRUSTED YOU!"

Well, that sure is a way to end a series.

Next series begins with Shang-Chi having to explain himself to the tetchy people from Tao-Lao wanting to know just why he smashed their nice vault up and stole the rings back, who naturally refuse to believe he wasn't responsible.
