Sad to know that in hindsight, this arc is what counts as 'downtime'. Nothing particularly shitty happens to anyone. Dale loses a leg and something else happens down the line, but the baby is born, Glenn gets married, life continues up until the shit hits the fan. Probably why this was my favourite volume of TWD--I don't think they ever got a chance to breathe after that.
