I love it when they do the ole switcheroo of making you think a bad guy is about to murder or do something horrible to someone and then the good guys bust in to save them and they are just like chilling out together. Always cracks me up. Also, very well played, Tombstone. I was wondering why they had him be all buddy buddy with Randy a few issues ago and then last issue being like, “Gotta go kill everyone now”. Very masterful plan.

Okay, I never thought much of Tombstone before, but like with Sinister, that all changes now.

Between his love for his cat, how he played Spider-Man, and the stuff with Robbie and the kids?

I'm gonna say it, the Rose must have incredibly lousy security if Tombstone and a whole cadre of his goons can cart Spider-Man down into the basement of his hideout without him noticing.

What exactly happened here?

Tombstone captured spidey and told him he was going to dress his men up like Rose's and start indiscriminately murdering people to frame Rose. Spidey breaks out, beats up all the guys dressed up like Rose's men... Turns out they actually wear, and it was all a trick by Tombstone: He'd taken Spidey to near Rose's base, expecting him to get lose and start beating up the guys who looked like Rose's men.

That was BRILLIANT! Bravo to Lonnie. The instant he saved that cat, I made my choice of who I wanted to win this crime war and he did so flawlessly. Didn't even need to have anyone wasted.

Not sure what Spidey is so upset about. Yeah, Tombstone got away, but you got the Rose! That's still a win!

I really enjoyed this plot! Series is looking better, if they can keep this level up, I may even forget about the timeskip and kids stuff.
