Ah, classic Doom. His ego was so frail back in the day that the slightest upset sent him into a tizzy. He's still ego driven today, of course, but he can roll with the punches now a days. He wouldn't, say, undo a body transfer with his arch nemesis simply because his attempts to convince the Fantastic...Three, I guess...that he was Reed Richards had failed.

I think that was a reference to one of the Lee/Kirby issues where Doom first his body swap ability.

Yep, that's the one. Same issue where Dr. Doom literally bursts into Stan and Jack's office...and then for some reason takes his mask off. I mean, he explains that he has to take it off at times or it feels like it's suffocating him, but why do it in front of them?
