At this point, having done a ton of interior Batman stuff, I’m more interested in sort of an exterior Batman, more of a Batman solving crimes and fighting people and less of a Batman looking into his navel and thinking about the pearls. -- Tom King

Man, the narrative during the fight reminds me a great deal of the forensic walkthroughs of mass shootings, and I find that really uncomfortable and borderline offensive on the part of the author.
