As I recall, he was at the Bar With No Name when Scourge hit, survived it, then became a cyborg, then got torn apart? Not sure if he is part of the whole "made a deal with Mephisto to come back" crew.

Did a quick google and he apparently died in a flashback on Thunderbolts, fighting Graviton (talk about fighting out of your weight class), though he was already dying from having his cybernetics broken by Stegron like you said.

And there are apparently two legacy villains. For Ringer. Boggles the mind, yes?
