It’s basically the White Knight universe’s take on Batman Beyond but in this case Bruce was in prison for ten years for his actions as Batman. The real Joker is dead but this is an AI copy of his ‘good’ side who has been helping out Bruce.

It just dawned on me...

Joker is basically Batmite redux.

I think he kind of idolizes, hero-worships Batman. His good side wants to be his sidekick, and his bad... I guess wants to make him the best hero he can be by giving him the kinds of challenges he sees as worthy of one such as him to overcome.
