It's cool, go on insisting that Cap is not better or in fact worse then other heroes.

Insist that on a post proving otherwise as he is one of the few beings worthy of lifting Mjolnir.

That's the point. It proves nothing.

Why is he worthy of lifting Mjölner? Because the writer makes so that he's the one of those who can. The only thing it proves is that the writer has a hard-on for Cap, no different from when Loeb had Red Hulk lift it. (Although slightly less stupid)

Don't get me wrong: I'm not claiming that Cap is a bad hero or anything like that (I don't find him very interesting, but that's different) I'm claiming that he's not all that special, as far as superheroes go. ALL of them constantly risk their lives for the sake of others, ALL of them go into fights they can't win, ALL of them stand up to evil.

That's because it's kind of the definition of "superhero". And what Cap does here (coming to the aid of a belegaured Thor) is no different than what Spidey or Hawkeye or Dr. Strange or ANYONE ELSE would do.

Because they're heroes, and that's what they do.
