Is it that Batman's always a little angry at Superman? I think he's blaming it on the fireworks being monochrome right at the moment, but...what is that called, when you get mad at somebody for something that's not at all their fault? Displacement? Can't think of the word, and not sure if that's what Black Cat is going for, but the anger is fabulous and too Batman.

Agreed on the hugging. Several of them could use a hug. I'd like to see somebody try to hug Batman.

Bruce is always angry at Clark for everything, being good, doing something stupid, ignoring him, sacrificing himself for the greater good, etc....

Slash mind aside I think Bruce loves him like a brother, when you are close to your siblings you always fight with and are annoyed with them for whatever reasons but you secretly like them and want them to be ok.

I am looking at this from my own experiences anyway, I have a way too perfect older brother that everyone loves and he is just perfect at everything, nice and good and I can't help but being irritated with him for that, still I secretly enjoy spending time with him and think he's a great brother.

I think he's just grumpy at the fireworks being all green and looking at Supes in a "Can' you believe these guys?" type of way while Supes is just giving him a "I dunno" type of look.

The brotherly rivalry-love of Terry and Tim is one of those sweet moments that weave through the wonderful AWWW YEAAAAH that is Batman & Sons. The general brotherly relationship between all the Robins is authentic, but Terry and Tim are just so real. They feel a bit like my own brother and I.

I think that baby Supes (Chris Kent?) just pointed out that he is wearing patriotic colors while the Batchildren are only holding those colors. And Bats, being his usual angry self, uses it an opportunity to rip into Supes.

Well, at least it's different SHADES of green. Personally, I think that the beauty of fireworks is less to do with their colors than the size and shape of the explosions and the way they hang in midair for a few seconds before dissipating, and the noise... The colors are nice too, of course. It's all good. Particularly while eating an ice cream bar.
