* Both have been targeted by mad scientists who specialize in cloning (Nathaniel Essex for Scott, Miles Warren for Peter).
* And now we have a timeskip storyline in which both were blamed for some horrible act that it turns out wasn't bad at all (and in Peter's case was actually someone else's fault).
