Am I insane or do the people on the cover look almost identical to the cast of Konosuba?

I think there might be some anime color coding that I'm unaware of but the hair certainly stands out as similar.

I mean, I've been seeing blue haired girls in anime forever but - aside from having water powers - Sailor Mercury and Aqua could not be more different but maybe it's come to mean something over time in the same way "Fiery Redhead" and "Dumb Blonde*" are western stereotypes.

*Come to think of it, Darkness might be the smartest in that band of idiots...not that it matters (given that her major character flaw still has her doing stupid things all the time)

The Plot:
