Bruce exercise his body to perfection, but a man still needs a burger. Once in awhile.

Sorry, I refuse to believe that Batman ever eats a burger with anything other than a knife and fork.

As Bruce, perhaps, but on his own Batman may dispense with proper table manners for expediency.

I love the ones watching with indifference. He really thought he was going to accomplish something.

Its a comforting fantasy. One big moment to change the world, fix win their heart, etc.

Much easier than the daily, steady, grindy effort that actually moving the needle requires.

I don't see Batman being quite so neurotic about food: I don't think he could function as some kind of ascetic who eats a hyper-calibrated science diet or subsists on Soylent shakes or whatever the current version of that is. In addition to being the Batman he also has to function in the world as Bruce Wayne, wealthy playboy who's seen in all the finest and most exclusive restaurants everywhere in the world. It would be noteworthy and attract attention if he weren't seen in those places.

Sure, we have tech bro billionaires who have weird cultish diets and are super-neurotic about food, but Bruce Wayne isn't that sort of rich person; he's old money and his pleasure-seeking playboy philanthropist thing is a well-established part of his character. Bruce Wayne is going to know about good food because it's essential to the persona. It would look suspicious if he didn't.

The idea that Bruce gets a craving for an illicit fast food burger or whatever is perfectly fine. But it's more a question of not wanting the fancy thousand dollar burger that Bruce Wayne would be expected to order rather than a question of him fretting over "this unscientifically prepared burger might compromise my super rigid training regimen!"

Must be during a time when Alfred is dead/missing/bedridden. Like he'd let Bruce eat anything other than homemade burgers. And there wouldn't be anything of poor quality in there.
