Funny how the criminals knew Superman couldn't use his powers, while intrepid ace reporter Lois Lane had no idea.

So, uh... about the Kryptonite... does it just have a fixed ratio for how much it depowers Superman? Like, sure, it reduced his powers to normal levels... and just stopped?

Unless the decrease was only temporary, in which case, you still have the same problem just waiting to come back up.
