It seems like it'll be a fun dumb thing for kids, which I suppose is all you can really ask for from a Transformers movie. Hemsworth is doing an okay Cullen impression, but Tyree Henry (or just Henry?) sounds pretty random--I have no idea why they need Scarlet Johansson in there instead of, say, Jennifer Hale. I mean, I know virtually all animated movies are guilty of the celebrity voice actor thing, but it's particularly galling when you have characters that have iconic voices already.
When you have a Chris Pratt Mario and a Jack Black Claptrap, there's no point in ever expecting anything but a celebrity for a major animated role anymore.
It's funny that Chris Pratt has become emblematic of the problem when he actually was the main voice of an animated movie before he became really, really famous. And to be fair, Scarlett Johansson is a legitmately good VO as evident from Her.
I think probably the big offenders are Shrek 3 and Lego Batman where you're just throwing in famous people to do cameos. The Kung Fu Panda movies kind of flirt with that too.
