That was pointed out on the Space Jam thread that no one’s made one of these yet, so here we are.

At long last, after nearly a decade of only featuring in other people’s movies and after a significant delay, Black Widow is finally here! Have you seen the movie? Heard about that? Are you interested at all? What did you like/dislike? Please feel free to discuss below! Remember to be wary of spoilers...

The mods said this needed to be a separate thread, so I'm giving it one!

But seriously, spoilers )

A while ago I had a fixation on various Marvel characters performing Disney songs. My dear friend [deviantart.com profile] cesar-hernandez was kind enough to draw some of them for me.

Warning: Feels may ensue.

"Netflix has bet big on the Extreme Universe of graphic novel characters hatched by Rob Liefeld, whose disruptive Deadpool creation was the blockbuster movie surprise of 2016. Netflix has made a seven-figure rights deal."

"The deal involves a number of Liefeld’s Image Comics creations, including Brigade, Bloodstrike, Cybrid, Lethal, Re-Gex, Bloodwulf, Battlestone, Baboom and Nitro-Gen. Noticeably absent form the line-up are some of Liefeld’s better known comic creations, including Youngblood, Glory and Supreme; would appear that they are not included in the Extreme deal, which involves “9 comic book titles and nearly 100 characters.”'

If Netflix spent over a million dollars on this crap because "Rob Liefeld created Deadpool," I've got some bad news for them.

Io9 posted an interesting article on the upcoming Batman Ninja movie, and I thought of sharing it here :)

Batman Ninja, the upcoming animated film coming from Warner Bros. Japan and directed by JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s Jumpei Mizusaki, is a simple enough idea to wrap your mind around: Batman and co. are flung back through time to medieval Japan. But the few seconds of footage screened today at New York Comic Con showed that the story writer Kazuki Nakashima (Kamen Rider Fourze) and character designer Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai) have crafted is unlike any Batman story we’ve ever seen. Though the movie isn’t quite done yet ahead of its 2018 release, it’s already one of the most visually daring and astonishing Batman stories Warner Bros. has ever produced.

Opinions?

Personally, I'm a bit disappointed that Jason is not in it, as the "vengeful, rebellious son who dares break the family code" is pretty much perfect for a samurai-inspired take on Batman :/

On the bright side, Dick is there. If they make him into a bishounen, complete with sparkles and background flowers, all shall be forgiven ◡‿◡✿

How very ironic that my favorite Disney film would be one of the last I learned about. But then, as that wise gentleman once said, "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains..."

Come, Dawson! The game is apaw! )

Greetings True Believers!

Well, what do you think of that?

Edit: I got to thinking and here is a question for my fellow S_Ders.

Think of a comic book character that has NOT been portrayed on the big screen and tell us which actor/actress/CGI robot should play them.

I get us started. He may have aged out of the role but Neil Patrick Harris as Speedball!

Greetings True Believers!

I'm in a whimsical mood due to some good fortune and I also saw these behind the cameras pics from the set of the Avengers movie and they made me laugh.

I'm going to add some captions and you do the same!

Enjoy!
