As seen last time, Wildcat is armed with nothing but a towel when the Injustice Society breaks into JSA headquarters. But, as Douglas Adams always told us, you're pretty sorted as long as you've got a towel.

This is a pretty jobber line-up, aside from Count Vertigo, who I think just wrapped a redemption arc of sorts in the last issue of Suicide Squad, and Tigress, who for a rando is going to end up a pretty major player in the adaptations of Young Justice and Stargirl.
Only in America!

I think that singles one-liner was supposed to be Brundlefly's, because it doesn't make much sense for Count Vertigo to go from stripper jokes to being high-handed about male nudity.

Cat quips: with Black Cat, Catwoman, and Wildcat all making them, they can't all be pick of the litter.
Geomancer finds out you can't play chicken on foot...

and Blackbriar Thorn finds out you can't ride in an elevator without an elevator.

She's inadvertently electrocuted by Golden Wasp, who is goaded into taking on Wildcat mano-e-mano. You fool! Being able to make boxing references gives him a +4 to hit!
Meanwhile, Johnny Sorrow has picked up something called the King of Tears from the JSA's junk drawer, so he leaves and teleports out the Injustice Society with him.

So that's Wildcat for you. He's neat. Like if the universe said "ya know what, Sylvester Stallone doesn't have to age and we want him to make movies where Rocky becomes a superhero." I think we can let him have the occasional reference to banging Catwoman, as a treat.
