Not sure what’s supposed to make her hypersexualized or underage-appearing here.

I'm a fan of the original Reign, but I totally agree that the art and dialogue are very obviously hypersexualized and she looks VERY young.

I think I'll be skipping this based on these scans.

It's very clearly a callback to Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Strikes Again", which apart from randomly recasting Carrie Kelly as Catgirl, also just had male-gazey hypersexualisation everywhere - including a squad of female "heroes" who didn't do anything but pose while wearing bodypaint...?

I'm no prude or puritan; sexual themes are often interwoven in superheroic fantasy, sometimes inextricably. But that doesn't excuse tackiness.

She's drawn to be small and slender with short limbs and relatively large eyes and head. There's also a focus on her puffy lips, tongue, and lashes.

She’s petite but I’m still not seeing anything that would make me jump to the conclusion she’s underage and I’m pretty sure Marvel wouldn’t have a teenager kiss an old man Spider-Man like that. As for being sexualized I could probably find more explicit scenes with Black Cat or Catwoman.
