Snowbird is the first on the scene, having ditched her civilian identity’s responsibilities as a member of the RCMP.

Must suck for the veterans to get shown up by the rookie. If it wasn't for Marinna, then the team would have still been trying to stop the giant arth monster by punching it.

The first and last time Marrina would be of any use or significance to the team. Her whole story arc goes off the rails pretty quickly.
I loved Alpha Flight, at least the Byrne run. They were dysfunctional as fuck, but entertainingly so. And under his pen, they only acted as a full team like, once a year because they were allergic to things like cooperation and civility.

And one of those few times they actually acted as a team involved Vindicator dying explodingly.

Well, I mean technically, there's various iterations of Beta Flight, Gamma Flight, and Omega Flight... and then there was the short-lived Weapon P.R.I.M.E.
In other words, if you want to be part of a Canadian superteam, your choices are limited and awful.
