Date: 2024-09-20 12:38 pm (UTC)Neron forced Wally and Linda to surrender their love in a Flash story some time after Underworld Unleashed, as part of a larger plot to find his own way into the Speed Force. His ploy failed because it ended up corrupting him in reverse: taking that love into himself meant that he started viewing the damned with compassion and suffering as they themselves suffered. Wonder Woman got Wally and Linda to confess their separate deals with Neron to each other, but it was the feels Neron had usurped that ultimately stopped him.
