Another filler issue as it is time to fix the Mockingbird/Phantom Rider mess before John Byrne takes over.

Who thought it was a good idea to give Daimon Hellatrom a stupid-looking superhero costume? He claims it is his exorcism uniform, but that's no excuse.

This was actually a two-for-one exorcism as Moon Knight was possessed by Khonshu at this moment in time. Now free of Khonsu's influence, moon Knight quits the team.

DeFalco also tied this issue in with his run of Thor as the forces of Set the Serpent God targeted Moon Knight for reasons I am not exactly clear on.

Boy, I bet we saw a lot of that good ghost Phantom Rider, right?

The Wiki is not much help on that front, but from the looks of it he mostly just showed up in the background once or twice, then died in that Hawkeye and Mockingbird series a decade ago.
(Doesn't say what he died of.)
The Phantom Rider title then passed to one Jaime Slade, who hasn't reappeared since.

(It was a whole thing involving Lincoln’s ghost again, Crossfire, the modern Phantom Rider and his daughter Jaime…)

It’s a shame really. Fun concept and great visual, but muddled execution.
